Strengthening the Steering Committee of the Provincial Sustainable Forestry Development Program for the period 2021 - 2025

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just decided to complete the Steering Committee of the Provincial Sustainable Forestry Development Program for the period 2021 - 2025, consisting of 22 members. Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee as Head of the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment as Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in directing and coordinating the coordination between departments, branches, district-level People's Committees and relevant agencies in effectively implementing the Sustainable Forestry Development Program. In particular, it focuses on: Organizing guidance; developing plans, monitoring, evaluating and reporting implementation results; directing preventive measures and responding to urgent situations in forest protection, forest fire prevention and fighting; inspecting and urging the work of forest management, protection and development; coordinating activities between units to synchronously and effectively implement the program throughout the province.
