- Many people admire Kieu Anh's marriage, do the couple ever have conflicts?
My husband and I have been together since 2015. During the process of living together, every couple has arguments. My husband and I are no exception. I think that is necessary, otherwise we cannot understand and adapt to each other.
- What is the catalyst that makes the relationship between two people become stronger?
After 10 years, I realized that a woman's personality and beauty can be a catalyst for the person next to her to want to connect. I also realized that what my husband values is being inspired by me. If I have a daughter in the future, I will teach her: Have big dreams, ambitions and live in a way that always inspires those around her.
- Do you have a mentality of depending on your husband?
My husband loves his wife and is very manly. I can depend on him and feel secure. But I think that everyone is born with their own journey and needs to be independent in their personal life. I have a strong shoulder beside me but I still have to continue writing unfinished dreams.
- Being called by the audience with the nickname "rich lady", do you like it and do you have any idea to build a brand based on this title?
Before, people called me a rich woman, but recently they have given me more cute nicknames, like "love branch" which I really like. No matter what title I am called, the most important thing is still a beautiful image in the eyes of everyone. That is the true value of an artist. If the audience mentions me with a positive attitude, a good image, and is lovable, that is what is important.
- While doing business, being a KOL and being a mother, how does Kieu Anh balance her time?
After participating in a recent game show, I realized that willpower is stronger than physical strength. As long as I believe I can do it, things that seem impossible can still be done. I consider that as a guiding principle, not only in the competition but also in life. No matter how much work I have to do, as long as I believe, I can do it. Currently, I still try to balance everything in the best way.
Journey of art and heritage of Ca Tru
- As the 7th generation in a family with a long tradition of Ca Tru, but currently young people no longer have much love for this art genre, do you have any concerns?
Not only Ca Tru but all traditional Vietnamese arts need to be preserved and promoted. Promoting here means how to bring the folk breath closer to the audience.
I really hope that Ca Tru will not only be seen by the audience like the way I go to a museum. I want to tell the story of Ca Tru through the breath of a person living in modern times. That will be my responsibility - how to bring Ca Tru and the unique cultural features of Vietnam closer to young audiences.

- Do you have pressure to develop that subject?
My family doesn’t put pressure on me, but I put pressure on myself. Being born into a family with a 7-generation tradition of performing Ca Tru, which has been recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage, is a great fortune. If I don’t take advantage of that privilege to continue promoting my ancestors’ profession, it would be a waste. As the 7th generation, I take on the responsibility of promoting and popularizing this art to more people.

- Kieu Anh is a hot name in "Pretty Sister" season 2, but before, people thought she was worrying too much about her family and wasting her talent?
After the show, all the things I've done, when the audience looks at them, they won't think "just take her ability away". In the show and concert of "Beautiful Sister" , everyone saw that I really returned to my career seriously. With that momentum, I think it would be a waste if I didn't continue to be serious about my career.
- Does your husband's family support you returning to art?
I got married at 21 and now have 2 children, 1 8 years old and 1 5 years old. I spent almost a decade being a mother, taking good care of my children. That was enough time to prove to my family that I always do well in any role.
Now that the children are in school and relatively old, it is the right time for me to come back. I have not encountered any opposition from my husband's family. When they see my journey, see me contributing and being accepted, everyone feels proud.
- You and singer Thu Phuong had a relationship in "The Voice" 2015 and then met again in "Beautiful Sister" 2024. How is your relationship now?
After the show Chi Dep , Thu Phuong and I had more connections. Many times we talked, we often recalled beautiful memories from the time we participated in The Voice.
Ms. Phuong once said that she never doubted my expertise or ability. Those words have always been a great source of encouragement, like a luggage to help me be more confident on my career path. Every time I think back, I always appreciate and thank her.
We also collaborated on performances and shared a lot during our time living in the dormitory. Until now, the relationship between the two sisters is still good.
