Military-civilian love soothes the pain in the "flood center" of Nghe An

In the flood disaster caused by storm No. 3 in Western Nghe An, the love between the army and the people and the solidarity of the people shone, like a warm fire, soothing the pain caused by natural disasters.

On July 31, 8 days after the fierce flood submerged Western Nghe An , Con Cuong - one of the areas severely affected - Regiment 335 (Division 324, Military Region 4) completed its mission to help people overcome the consequences of the flood.

Meanwhile, many villages in Tuong Duong, Muong Xen, and Muong Tip communes have severe road breaks and landslides that make it difficult for cars and motorbikes to travel, so the recovery work is still facing many difficulties.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 1 (Division 324) help people of Tuong Duong and Muong Xen communes overcome the consequences of floods.

Currently, thousands of officers, soldiers, and militiamen of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command and Division 324 have divided into many teams and assault teams to help people dredge the meter-thick mud left behind when the flood receded.

At the same time, increase the force to clear the flow, collect garbage before spraying disinfectants and cleaning the environment.

Many essential works such as community houses, kindergartens, and primary schools were severely damaged; the transportation, irrigation, power grid, and telecommunications systems were seriously damaged and are being repaired day and night by officers and soldiers of Military Region 4.

Along with that, the forces of Military Region 4 also made efforts to repair and rebuild houses, gardens, livestock barns, as well as transport relief goods to rescue people at risk of hunger and thirst in isolated villages...

After more than a week of helping people in Con Cuong commune, on the afternoon of July 31, Regiment 335 (Division 324) withdrew to their units amid the love, affection and gratitude of the local Party Committee, government and people.
