On September 20, Fisheries Surveillance Team No. 2 (Phuoc Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that ship KN 215 of the Team promptly rescued a fisherman who was seriously poisoned while fishing in the southern waters of Vietnam.
Specifically, at around 9:00 p.m. on September 19, while on duty in the southern sea, Ship KN 215 (belonging to Fisheries Surveillance Squadron No. 2, Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance) received a distress call from fishing vessel KG 95054 TS stating that a fisherman on board had abnormal health symptoms and needed urgent assistance.
Immediately after receiving the information, Ship KN 215 quickly maneuvered to the location of the fishing boat with the sick fisherman.
After about 45 minutes, the KN 215 ship approached the fishing boat. The medical team immediately went to the fishing boat to take the patient to the KN 215 ship for emergency treatment.
Through examination, the patient was identified as Mr. Tran Van Thich (born in 1969, residing in An Giang province) with signs of severe poisoning: fever, high and unstable blood pressure, vomiting, diarrhea. The medical team performed emergency treatment, gave medicine and monitored the patient's health condition.
By 11pm the same day, the patient's health gradually stabilized, no more vomiting or diarrhea.
After dispensing the medicine, the medical team handed the patient back to the fishing boat and instructed the captain to quickly bring the sick fisherman ashore for further treatment, ensuring his safety./.
