Fire extinguished in fishing shop in time

(CT) - According to Can Tho City Police, authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire that broke out at a fishing tackle shop on Nguyen Truyen Thanh Street, Binh Thuy Ward, in the early morning of September 15.

Initial information, at around 2:30 a.m. on September 15, Mr. C (store owner) and his wife and children were sleeping when they heard a fire in the house. Upon checking, Mr. C saw a fire burning next to the motorbike parked near the main entrance, so he and his wife took their children and ran upstairs, then climbed over the neighbor's roof and shouted for help.

After receiving the news, the fire police, army and local forces quickly arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Because the store had many flammable items, the fire spread quickly, burning many items. In addition, the fire also spread to the neighbor's house and scorched the front of the taxi parked on the sidewalk in front.

The fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being assessed.
