Previously, on the night of August 24, Thanh Mien Commune Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Duc Hao, a bus driver on the Quang Ninh - Ben Trai route (Thanh Mien Commune), about a teenage passenger showing signs of being psychologically manipulated and falling into a scam to go to Cambodia to find work from subjects on social networks.
Realizing the seriousness of the incident, the Commune Police instructed driver Nguyen Duc Hao to take the teenager to the Police headquarters.

At the Thanh Mien Commune Police Station, the identity of this young man was identified as Pham Dinh A. (born in 2009, residing in Hoang Que Ward, Quang Ninh Province). A. said that he had recently met a person through social media, who lured A. to Cambodia with the promise of finding him a comfortable, stable job with a high income.
Being young and naive, A. trusted and left home following the route the subject instructed. On the bus from Dong Trieu ward (Quang Ninh province) to Ben Trai, driver Nguyen Duc Hao noticed that A. was acting unusually and tried to start a conversation. After that, with a high sense of vigilance, Mr. Hao called the police to report.
After being thoroughly analyzed and explained by the Commune Police, A. clearly understood the sophisticated tricks and realistic prospects of falling into the trap of cyber criminals, stabilized his mentality and gave up the idea of going to Cambodia.
On August 25, Thanh Mien Commune Police contacted Pham Dinh A.'s relatives and handed the teenager over to his family for management.
