Signing of bilateral cooperation documents between Vietnam and North Korea

On the afternoon of October 10, within the framework of the State visit to the DPRK and attendance at the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025) by General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, the signing ceremony of bilateral cooperation documents between Vietnam and DPRK took place in the capital Pyongyang.

The signed cooperation documents include: Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; Letter of Intent between the Ministry of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on cooperation in the field of national defense; Cooperation agreement between the Vietnam News Agency and the Korean Central News Agency; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of health and medical science between the Ministry of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Health of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

In recent years, the Vietnam-DPRK relationship has continued to develop steadily and firmly and achieved some remarkable results. The two sides have signed a number of bilateral cooperation agreements in the fields of culture, health , civil aviation, judicial assistance, investment promotion and protection, double taxation avoidance, etc.; maintained a number of dialogue and cooperation mechanisms. Exchange activities between people's organizations have been maintained and expanded, through which the people of the two countries, especially the young generation, have a deeper understanding of the traditional and good friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples.
