Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tu Nghia High School No. 1

(QNgTV) - On the morning of July 26, Tu Nghia High School No. 1 solemnly held the 50th Anniversary Ceremony - a journey full of hardships but also full of pride for many generations of teachers and students of the school.

Tu Nghia High School No. 1, formerly known as Thu Xa Public High School, was officially established in 1975 under the name Tu Nghia High School. Through many stages of development, the school changed its name many times and from 2001 to present, it is called Tu Nghia High School No. 1. After half a century of formation and development, Tu Nghia High School No. 1 has continuously grown, overcoming initial difficulties, building a solid and comprehensive educational foundation.

From a school with simple facilities, it has now become a spacious, modern educational unit, meeting national standards and a bright spot in the province's education sector. The number of excellent teachers, excellent students, high school graduates and university and college graduates is increasing, affirming the school's position. Tu Nghia High School No. 1 was recognized as meeting national standards in 2010 and was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal in 2015.

The leaders of the provincial Department of Education and Training acknowledged the efforts of the school's staff, teachers and students over the years. They requested that the school continue to promote its traditions, innovate teaching methods, accelerate digital transformation in education and focus on building a comprehensive and modern learning environment. Tu Nghia High School No. 1 is currently one of the province's outstanding educational institutions, with many students achieving high results in studying, training and university entrance exams.

On this occasion, Tu Nghia High School No. 1 was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister. 02 individuals of the School received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. 03 individuals received a Certificate of Merit from the Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training. This is a great honor for the teachers and students of the school, marking a proud 50-year journey.
