Currently, on the Hue royal architecture, there are 2,967 carved and gilded wooden poetry panels, 146 enameled poetry panels and 88 units of panels, parallel sentences and poems made of ceramic. These are unique documentary heritages, the only originals currently remaining in Vietnam and have outstanding global value.
Experts have commented: Poetry and literature on Hue royal architecture is a unique style in royal architectural decoration, not seen anywhere else in the world. This system of poetry and literature heritage is truly a living, unique, and exclusive museum of Nguyen Dynasty literature. It conveys historical, cultural, and artistic messages of a period in Vietnam's modern history. These are priceless works of art, a massive treasure trove of historical documents, a heritage containing many precious values that need special attention to preservation.
To date, the system is still very well preserved, except for the works that were lost due to the destruction of the building.
