In March 2024, Saigon Steel Pipe Company Limited started operating in Sonadezi Chau Duc Industrial Park. This factory specializes in producing iron and steel to supply domestic and international markets, mainly in Southeast Asian countries.
Immediately after going into operation, by the end of 2024 the company's output will reach 140,000 tons, equivalent to 70% of the design capacity. With potential and expanding market, in 2025 the company has increased its production capacity to 100% to meet orders. The company's machinery system has also been completely invested in and automated up to 70% of the production stages.
Mr. Phan Tuan Vu, Factory Director, Saigon Steel Pipe Company Limited said: To meet the needs of the consumer market, the company must diversify its products. In 2025, new, more active and higher quality products were introduced to meet customer requirements. Although the market has fluctuated, the company's steel pipe products are still vibrant and have a lot of potential.
In March 2025, the fruit juice factory of Wana Beverage Joint Stock Company (Chau Duc Industrial Park) officially went into commercial operation after a 6-month trial period. The factory's products are exported to markets in 40 countries in Europe, America, Australia, etc. with a total converted capacity equivalent to 300 TEU/month.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Wana Beverage Joint Stock Company, the product is an export product, so the company focuses on implementing solutions to promote the brand to many countries around the world .
Not only participating in international trade fairs, the company also diversifies its commercial forms from "online to offline". Thanks to that, Wana's beverage products are increasingly known to customers around the world. Currently, the company is in need of recruiting 180 more employees to operate at maximum capacity by September 2025. The company's goal in the coming time is to expand and develop towards domestic consumption, diversifying customers so that the company's production line operates more stably - Mr. Khanh shared.
The project's operation not only creates jobs for local workers but also helps Ba Ria-Vung Tau province have new industrial products, contributing to the province's economic growth. Not only domestic enterprises, since the beginning of 2025, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, many projects of FDI investors have come into operation.
Last March, the factory of Mi-Jack Manufacturing Global Vietnam (USA) specializing in manufacturing cranes, forklifts, loading and unloading vehicles and spare parts for accompanying equipment officially came into operation in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Phu My City. With a total investment of 29 million USD, the factory produces 8,000 tons of products/year in phase 1 (an additional 4,000 tons/year when phase 2 is completed).
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, in April 2025 alone, 5 industrial projects came into operation. Accumulated to April 2025, in industrial parks in the province, there were 10 projects coming into operation, bringing the total number of projects operating in industrial parks to 482 projects. The contribution to the value of industrial production excluding crude oil and gas of the province in 4 months reached more than 130,700 billion VND, an increase of 10.35% over the same period in 2024.
Currently, industrial parks in the province have 55 projects under construction and under construction in 2025. It is expected that from now until the end of the year, more than 20 more projects will come into operation in industrial parks, becoming an important driving force for the province's goal of developing double-digit GRDP; especially in the context that some key industries are facing difficulties due to political fluctuations in the world.
Projects expected to operate in 2025 are not only in some traditional fields, strengths of Ba Ria-Vung Tau such as mechanics, manufacturing, steel... but also many factories producing new products not only for Vietnam but also in the region and continent.
For example, Hyosung Group's carbon fiber factory with a total investment of 560 million USD is expected to be operational by the end of 2025. This is one of the key projects in the orientation of "setting the future for 100 years in Vietnam" of this leading Korean chemical group.
This project not only brings in a large source of revenue but is also one of the first steps in the orientation of building Ba Ria-Vung Tau into an advanced biotechnology center of the country and the region. Currently, the provincial authorities are supporting the procedures to implement the project on schedule, contributing to the development of the province soon.
Up to now, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, there are 17 industrial parks approved for investment; of which 13 industrial parks have been put into operation, with an occupancy rate of 69.42%/13 industrial parks in operation.
According to Mr. Vo Thanh Phong, Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the unit not only focuses on promoting and attracting investment projects in industrial parks but also focuses on supporting businesses in implementing projects, because only when the factory is started and built will the capital really bring value.
Mr. Phong said that the province always determines to accompany and commit to providing the best support to enterprises implementing projects and those already in production and business. At the same time, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has a systematic plan to develop industrial parks with a clear roadmap. It is expected that by 2028, many new industrial parks will be put into operation, attracting high-quality secondary projects to contribute to the overall development.
