Get rich by growing breadfruit and Japanese guava

In recent years, from the 5th of May to the 15th of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the selling price is quite high at 50,000 VND/1m long breadfruit branch. From 2021 to now, he sells about 15,000 Japanese guava branches each year. Breadfruit and Japanese guava are propagated by grafting. He has planted 150 Japanese guava branches and modified them into bonsai trees for sale at 150,000 VND/tree. Currently, due to the lack of Japanese guava to sell, Mr. Phuc no longer makes Japanese guava bonsai.

From 2021 to now, Mr. Phuc has earned more than 500 million VND/year by selling jackfruit and Japanese guava seedlings, with prices ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 VND/branch. The consumption market is quite large in Hanoi and Cambodia. Currently, Mr. Phuc has 10 familiar traders from the South to the North. Traders only need to place orders via Zalo, Mr. Phuc transports the seedlings to National Highway 57 for the vehicle to transport, and the money is transferred to Mr. Phuc's account very quickly.

In addition to producing seedlings, Mr. Phuc is also a shining example in building a new rural commune (NTM) in Vinh Thanh, especially an advanced NTM commune. On the main road in the hamlet "bright - green - clean - beautiful" 1.6km long, Mr. Phuc mobilized and contributed to the construction of 73 pillars, 73 light bulbs with a total cost of 70 million VND and 158 working days.

Over the years, Mr. Phuc has received many certificates of merit from the Provincial, District and Commune People's Committees. In March 2020, Mr. Phuc received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for his achievements as a delegate of the People's Council of Vinh Thanh Commune, Cho Lach District, in emulating and completing his tasks excellently for 2 consecutive years (2018 - 2019); in July 2022, he received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to build Vinh Thanh Commune to meet the standards of an advanced NTM Commune in 2022.

Chairman of Cho Lach District People's Committee Pham Anh Linh commented: "Mr. Phuc is a seedling farmer with a long-term vision. Planting seedlings once can sell seedlings all year round and for decades. This is a creative way of producing seedlings, going in the right direction and producing seedlings with few pests and diseases."
