Clarifying the subjects affected by Covid-19 to have land rent reduction

The Government has just issued Resolution 76/NQ-CP on subjects eligible for land and water surface rent reduction in Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2023 of the Government on land and water surface rent reduction in 2022 for subjects affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Resolution 76/NQ-CP supplements and clarifies the subjects in Article 1 of Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2023 of the Government as follows:

The impact of the COVID-19 epidemic as stipulated in Article 1 of Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP of the Government is a general impact on the national economy . Organizations, units, enterprises, households and individuals who are directly leasing land or water surface from the State according to the Decision or Contract or Certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land of competent state agencies in the form of annual land rent and water surface rent payment are all eligible for land rent and water surface rent reduction as stipulated in Article 1 of Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2023 of the Government.

For land and water surface lessees who have submitted 01 set of documents requesting a reduction in land and water surface rent for 2022 according to the provisions of Article 2 of Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP, the provisions of this Resolution shall apply (including the documents requesting a reduction in land and water surface rent that the land and water surface lessee has submitted in accordance with the regulations but has not been processed by the effective date of this Resolution).

According to the provisions of Article 1 of Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP, land and water surface rents for 2022 will be reduced by 30% for organizations, units, enterprises, households and individuals who are directly leasing land from the State according to the Decision or Contract or Certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land of competent state agencies in the form of annual land lease payments due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
