Spread green living actions for the environment

Responding to the program “July without single-use plastic” launched by the Provincial People's Committee, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (PN - KB National Park) has implemented many communication activities and practical actions to spread a green, environmentally friendly lifestyle. Thereby, it aims to raise public awareness, towards building a sustainable living and tourism environment without plastic waste.

Accordingly, the Management Board of PN-KB National Park has organized many forms of propaganda, such as: Hanging banners, billboards, posters at tourist attractions; posting the message "say no to disposable plastic" on the electronic information portal and social networking site of the unit; propagating to raise awareness for the community and tourists about the harmful effects of plastic waste; organizing many environmental cleaning campaigns at campuses, offices, public areas, traffic routes at tourist routes and attractions; cleaning the environment with the community in villages and hamlets in the National Park; supervising waste treatment of households, businesses, restaurants and tours and tourist routes; organizing the signing of commitments to join hands in reducing plastic waste...

In addition, the Management Board of PN - KB National Park also actively shares good models and typical stories of local people, organizations and businesses that are effectively applying alternative solutions to plastic such as using cloth bags, glass cups, paper boxes, products from natural materials...
