At the conference, delegates heard from Lawyer Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Bar Association and Vice President of the Hanoi Lawyers Association, who presented the key contents and outstanding new points of the 2026 Law on the Capital City, as well as the guiding documents for its implementation.
Lawyer Nguyen Van Ha emphasized that the 2026 Law on the Capital City, with its many groundbreaking new provisions, is expected to create a strong legal framework for Hanoi's rapid, sustainable, and modern development. The law was enacted to promptly institutionalize the Party's major policies on building and developing the Capital City, especially Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated March 17, 2026, of the Politburo on building and developing the Capital City in the new era…
According to the implementation plan of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tu Liem Ward, the dissemination of the 2026 Law on the Capital City will be carried out comprehensively and extensively to officials, civil servants, employees, union members, association members, and all strata of the population in the area. The content of the dissemination will not only focus on popularizing the provisions of the law but also on putting legal policies into practice, creating consensus among the people.
The ward also identified the need to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in propaganda work through the local broadcasting system, social media platforms, fanpages, Zalo groups of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations to improve the effectiveness of people's access to information.
In addition, the Fatherland Front of the ward will closely coordinate with functional agencies and member organizations to strengthen the monitoring of public opinion; promptly combat and refute false and distorted information related to the specific mechanisms and policies of the Capital.
Disseminating and publicizing the 2026 Law on the Capital City is an important task that needs to be carried out regularly and continuously through diverse forms suitable for each target group. This will contribute to raising legal awareness, promoting the people's role as masters of their own destiny, and creating a foundation for the Law on the Capital City to be implemented effectively, meeting the development requirements of the capital city in the new era.
