The contest aims to encourage the community to learn, preserve and promote national cultural identity, while promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world in the context of digital transformation. The program is hosted by VTC Multimedia Corporation, in coordination with the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The content consists of two parts: Vodcast “Identity Dialogue” encourages the creation of short videos sharing experiences, stories and unique perspectives on Vietnamese culture and quiz “Understanding Identity” tests knowledge about history, culture, art, tourism and outstanding achievements of the industry. The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam, taking place online on the website www.bansac.vn.
The total prize value is up to hundreds of millions of VND, including many categories for excellent Vodcast works, high votes and outstanding quiz results, along with attractive secondary rewards. Vodcast works are received from August 15 to 25; voting and knowledge test from August 28 to September 6.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Chu Tien Dat, Chairman of the Board of Members of VTC emphasized that in the context of deep integration, the digital environment is not a threat but the most powerful tool to approach, renew and spread Vietnamese culture to young people. He believes that young people will be the pioneering force to bring Vietnamese cultural identity to "live" strongly in the digital space, with creativity and appeal.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism expects that “Identity” will become a meaningful communication highlight, arousing national pride, love for Vietnamese culture and connecting domestic and international communities through modern, fair and creative platforms.
