According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, after 5 years of implementation, Project 6 has achieved many important results. Currently, 80% of villages have community houses, 50% of villages maintain traditional cultural and artistic teams that operate regularly and with quality. This affirms the clear impact of preserving and promoting traditional culture in the community.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups and 18 affiliated units to organize 15 typical traditional festivals; build 36 models of preserving traditional culture associated with tourism development; organize training courses on intangible cultural heritage and implement 29 in-depth research programs. These activities not only contribute to preserving identity but also enrich the spiritual life of the people.

This is the foundation for the community to have more space for activities, exchanges and preservation of traditional culture.
The total capital for project 6 is over VND 3,100 billion. By the end of 2024, the disbursement rate of central investment capital of localities will reach about 60%, central career capital will be about 63%.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that after merging Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Binh Thuan into the new Lam Dong province, the locality has more potential and development opportunities. With the advantage of being the largest province in the country, with mountains, plains and coastal areas, this place converges the cultural diversity of 43 ethnic groups.
In its socio-economic development strategy, Lam Dong has identified three basic pillars, emphasizing the development of traditional culture associated with tourism. This is not only a driving force for sustainable tourism but also a way to improve spiritual life and preserve cultural identity for future generations.
