Spread the message "One billion steps into the new era"

On the morning of August 16, in Vinh Long, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee to organize the activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam" on the longest ceramic and flower road in Vietnam, attracting about 5,000 participants.

The series of events were held simultaneously nationwide, with more than 200,000 participants.

The event took place in a vibrant atmosphere, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, and at the same time, looking forward to the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. This is the highlight of a series of events held simultaneously nationwide, with more than 200,000 participants, with the goal of "1 hour - 1 billion steps".

In Vinh Long, from early morning, a large number of cadres, civil servants, armed forces, union members, students and people from all walks of life were present on the ceramic and flower road, joining in the excited footsteps.

The program is connected online to communes and wards throughout the province, so that the walking festival becomes a common event for all people. Thereby, spreading the message "One billion steps towards a new era" is emphasized as a symbolic action, affirming the consensus towards a green - clean - sustainable future.

A large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, students... participated in the walk.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien, Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the program is not only an opportunity to review the heroic tradition of the nation, but also contributes to promoting the sports movement, responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
