Binh Dinh Traditional Martial Arts Festival for Youth Union Members in 2025 (Festival) is organized in 2 forms: online (qualifying round) and in person (final round).
In the qualifying round, the Organizing Committee received nearly 50 entries, most of which were carefully invested, elaborately staged and expressed many creative ideas in video construction. From this result, the Organizing Committee selected 10 excellent contestants in the boxing category and 8 outstanding teams in the sparring category to enter the final round to compete.

Mr. Do Duc Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union - said: Organizing the online qualifying round is a way to open up opportunities for a large number of young people and Youth Union officials, especially in remote areas, to participate and spread the spirit of martial arts through the unlimited connection of the digital platform. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for union members and young people to freely create and effectively apply modern equipment and technology in the digital age.

Born into a family with a tradition of martial arts, Vo Thi Ngoc Xuan (born 2008, Hoai Nhon Ward) was exposed to and practiced traditional martial arts since childhood, under the teachings of her father, martial arts master Vo Khac Hoang (Kim Hoang martial arts school). At the Festival, Ngoc Xuan excellently won first prize in the boxing category with a performance of Thai Son Con, and also collaborated with Nguyen Minh Quan (born 2009) to win first prize in the sparring category.
Ngoc Xuan shared: “Before joining the Festival, I had the opportunity to compete in many provincial and national youth competitions. However, I still tried my best to practice to have the most perfect performance. Through this Festival, I hope to spread the beauty of traditional martial arts, so that more and more young people can practice, preserve and promote the quintessence of martial arts of my homeland.”

Practicing traditional martial arts for 7 years, but this Festival is the first time Pham Bao Gia Hung (born 2007, Quy Nhon Tay Ward Group) competes with other martial arts students.
“Although I didn’t have much time to prepare, I was able to complete the test to the best of my ability. This festival gives me more motivation to continue practicing, aiming for high achievements in upcoming tournaments and competitions,” Hung confided.

Coming to watch and support his students perform at the Festival, senior martial artist Phan Hoa commented: “Before entering the final round, the students practiced very enthusiastically to perfect each movement in the most precise way. Having more meaningful playgrounds like this not only helps the students have the opportunity to exchange and learn, but is also a great source of encouragement for us to continue teaching, helping students maximize their abilities.”

Mr. Do Duc Thanh said: "In the coming time, the Organizing Committee will continue to improve so that the following Festival seasons will be more attractive, widespread and sustainable. Hopefully, the Youth Unions will maintain and expand the traditional martial arts training movement, bringing the quintessence of Binh Dinh traditional martial arts into the lives of young people, associated with building a healthy lifestyle, a sense of discipline and a spirit of dedication."
