More than 1,000 gifts and 200 million VND in cash were handed over by the An Lao SOS Club to households cut off and isolated by floodwaters.

Faced with heavy damage caused by floods in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh and Lang Son provinces, the SOS An Lao Club (Hai Phong) launched a relief campaign, connecting philanthropists and volunteer organizations to join hands to support people in disaster-hit areas to overcome difficulties.

Immediately after posting the appeal on social media platforms, SOS An Lao Club received positive responses from many individuals, groups and volunteer clubs inside and outside the city. In just a short time, nearly 20 tons of goods including food and essential necessities were gathered at SOS An Lao headquarters.

After 2 days of urgent implementation, more than 1,000 gifts and 200 million VND in cash were handed out to households that were cut off and isolated by floodwaters. In Thai Nguyen , the delegation handed out 500 gifts including cash, necessities and supplies; in Bac Ninh, 270 gifts were given out and in Lang Son, 370 gifts were given out.
