Ea Na Commune Youth Union and Police support people to harvest flooded rice

Due to the impact of continuous rain and storms for many days combined with the dam release, Quynh Ngoc 2 field (Ea Na commune) was flooded, threatening to lose the farmers' crops. In that situation, on September 11, the Ea Na Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Commune Police to mobilize forces to urgently go to the fields to support people in harvesting rice.

The activity was attended by 50 officers and soldiers of the commune police and 20 youth union members. Despite the harsh weather and deep water in the fields, the support force did not hesitate to wade through the fields to harvest the rice and transport each bag of rice to shore.

Thanks to that, many households were able to harvest in time, minimizing damage, especially single-parent families and those in difficult circumstances.

Many people's rice fields were deeply flooded.

Mr. Y Siong Knul, Secretary of the Ea Na Commune Youth Union, shared: “In difficult times, Ea Na youth are always ready to be there to support the people. This is not only a responsibility but also the affection and sharing of union members and youths towards the people. We hope that, through specific actions, local youth will contribute to spreading the spirit of solidarity and attachment between the army and the people, helping people feel secure in production and stabilize their lives.”

This meaningful activity has left a beautiful image of the pioneering spirit and responsibility of the youth and the police force of Ea Na commune. At the same time, this is also a vivid demonstration of the close relationship between the military and the people, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the local political system and organizations.
