(BDO) On December 6, within the framework of sideline activities during the official visit to Japan of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province visited and worked in Yamaguchi province.

Accordingly, Chairman of the People's Committee Vo Van Minh met and discussed with Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture Tsugumasa Muraoka. At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on a plan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of friendly cooperation between Binh Duong Province and Yamaguchi Prefecture; at the same time, they determined to re-sign the memorandum of understanding, affirming continued cooperation and mutual support in the socio -economic development of the two localities.

In recent times, in addition to strengthening cooperation and exchanges between high-ranking delegations, the two sides have strengthened cooperation in many areas such as organizing trade and investment promotion, student exchanges, cooperation in the fields of health, agriculture , etc.

The 10th anniversary celebration of friendly cooperation between Binh Duong province and Yamaguchi province is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2024 in Binh Duong province to evaluate and summarize the friendly cooperation activities between the two localities and orient specific cooperation activities in the coming time.
