Nghe An provincial leaders inspect urban area projects in Vinh City and Hung Nguyen

Speeding up the construction progress of social housing and apartment buildings within the project area is one of the contents proposed by Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien at the meeting with investors of urban construction projects in Vinh City and Hung Nguyen District.

On the morning of May 28, Comrade Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation inspected a number of housing construction projects in Vinh city and Hung Nguyen district. The delegation inspected the actual situation at 5 investment projects in Vinh city and Hung Nguyen district, including: Urban and commercial service area project in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city (joint venture of Trang An Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company and Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company as investors); Vinh riverside urban area project in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city (joint venture of Tri Duong Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and Ecopark Hai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company as investors); Vinh Tan ecological urban area project, Vinh city (Handico - Vinh Tan Urban Development Investment Joint Stock Company as investors); NIDCO Thinh Loi urban area project in Thinh Loi commune, Hung Nguyen district (Nguyen Hung Investment and Development Joint Stock Company as investors); Project of high-class villas, hotels, restaurants, amusement and entertainment areas in Trung Do ward, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city (Saigon - Trung Do Vinh Joint Stock Company as investors).

After inspecting the actual construction and construction progress of the projects, comrade Hoang Phu Hien and the working group discussed with the investors about recommendations and proposals related to the project construction process, especially those related to compensation and site clearance, ensuring scale, progress, environmental sanitation and related legal procedures.

At the meeting, project investors reported on the progress, investment scale and difficulties that need support to ensure the progress and quality of construction projects.

At the Urban and Commercial Service Area in Vinh Tan Ward, a representative of Trang An Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company said that the project is currently adjusting its investment policy due to new content of related laws. The investor also proposed to adjust some items to better suit actual usage needs, such as the scale of kindergartens and preschools.

In Vinh Riverside Urban Area, 60% of the technical infrastructure has been completed and is expected to be opened for sale in October 2025. However, some items are waiting for land price determination and site clearance related to 5 households because there is no resettlement location yet.

Vinh Tan Eco-Urban Area has built more than 500/1,412 units, with 400 units still pending site clearance. At the same time, the project investor is also coordinating with local authorities to handle the environmental treatment of the regulating lake area within the project area.

After the discussion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien highly appreciated the construction quality as well as the scale and planning of housing segments in the projects to meet the diverse housing needs of the people. Of the 5 implemented projects, 3 projects need to extend their investment. He requested investors to review the construction volume to promptly propose to the relevant departments and agencies to appraise and extend the project.

In addition, provincial leaders requested investors to focus on speeding up the construction progress of social housing and apartments, which are segments with high demand from the population. The items need to have specific progress according to commitments and planning.

Regarding the problems of the projects, comrade Hoang Phu Hien suggested that Vinh city focus on directing the handling and speeding up the progress of site clearance related to the projects, helping investors ensure the construction progress. Regarding the issues related to land valuation and compensation prices, he suggested that relevant departments, branches and localities follow the progress of handling documents to support businesses in updating project documents and procedures.
