Comrade Dang Dinh Chung, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, delivered the opening speech at the launching ceremony of the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month. This is a practical and effective activity to implement Directive 31-CT/TW of the Secretariat on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership on labor safety and hygiene in the new situation; organizing visits to workers who have occupational accidents and diseases.
The month of action on occupational safety and hygiene and the month of workers in 2025 from May 1 to May 31, with the theme: "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace" and "Vietnamese workers take the lead in entering the new era" , will be promoted by departments, branches, localities, enterprises and trade unions at all levels in the province to promote information and propaganda activities to do well in occupational safety and hygiene, raise awareness and consciousness about ensuring safety, health and life for workers, preventing occupational accidents, occupational diseases, fire and explosion prevention in enterprises and production facilities; caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Council for Labor Safety and Hygiene launched the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month 2025, to create a strong ripple effect to sectors, localities, and trade unions at all levels in paying attention to creating a safe working environment for workers.
