Currently, three packages of the Ring Road 3 project through Long An are being vigorously implemented by contractors on the site.
At the XL2 package, the Tan Buu bridge construction on the main route, parallel route... the contractors arranged two bored cranes, 5 bulldozers and over 50 officers, engineers and workers to work with urgency.
In May 2024, the construction unit will launch the Tan Buu bridge girder of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Long An.
Along with that, at the XL1 package (main route of the project), the contractor mobilized 35 bulldozers, excavators, trucks... and more than 50 engineers and workers to dig and fill the main route and service road.
Mr. Pham Anh Tan, a worker at IDICO Petroleum Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, said that his colleagues have returned to work since the 9th day of Tet, very excited and enthusiastic about working to ensure progress.
According to Mr. Dang Hoang Tuan, Director of Long An Department of Transport, right after Tet, contractors quickly returned to the construction site to ensure progress.
In particular, contractors of package XL2 are determined to launch the Tan Buu bridge girder of the main route in May 2024.
According to Mr. Tuan, up to now, the entire Ring Road 3 project through Long An has reached about 23% of the plan.

In which, package XL1, sand filling of public service roads was 4,218/4,310m, sand filling of main route to soft soil treatment elevation was 1,929/3,214m, drilling 9/28 bored piles, implementation value was 65/470 billion VND, reaching nearly 14% of the plan.
For the parallel route, 7/7 bored piles were tested, 21/47 piles were mass-driven, 35/35 piles were mass-driven and box culverts were concreted, 1,207/1,914m of parallel road embankment was constructed, the implementation value was over 167/903 billion VND, reaching more than 21% of the plan.

For package XL3 (construction of the end-of-route intersection), 16/16 bored piles have been tested, 93/93 mass piles have been drilled, 13/16 pier bases have been concreted, 10/16 pier bodies have been concreted... the implementation value is 114/378 billion VND, reaching more than 30%.
Component project 7 of Ring Road 3 through Long An in 2023 has disbursed 488/488 billion VND, reaching 100% of the allocated capital plan. In 2024, more than 289/918 billion VND will be disbursed.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is a national key project, with a total length of nearly 76km in phase 1 passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An with a total investment of more than 75,000 billion VND. The section passing through Long An is 6.84km long.
