According to information from the Sam Son City People's Committee, the 2025 Beach Tourism Festival, in addition to its spectacular art program, will feature many attractive cultural and sporting activities lasting before, during, and after the festival. Highlights include the "Sam Son Summer 2025" table tennis, badminton, and pickleball tournaments; the Sam Son Open Cycling Race "Brotherhood Cup"; the National Pencaksilat Championship; the National Pickleball Championship; the National Beach Sepak Takraw Championship; and the Sam Son Welcome Marathon.
In addition, activities rich in folk culture are also organized, such as the sticky rice cake festival, the fishing festival, and boat racing...
This is an opportunity for Sam Son City to showcase to tourists the positive changes in its urban landscape, service quality, and potential for developing beach tourism . Through this, it affirms Sam Son's position and role in its orientation towards becoming a key national tourist city.
Currently, the People's Committee of Sam Son City has implemented a plan and assigned specific tasks to each agency, unit, and commune/ward to effectively carry out preparations for the festival. This includes focusing on promoting the event; ensuring security and order, environmental hygiene, fire prevention and control, healthcare , welcoming delegates, and other necessary conditions.
The city also coordinated with relevant agencies to improve urban infrastructure, arrange parking areas appropriately, and develop plans for pedestrian streets, ensuring a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment, creating a positive impression on friends and tourists.
The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on Thanh Hoa Radio and Television and several other provincial and city radio and television stations nationwide.
