Long Khanh Fruit Festival will take place from June 15

Long Khanh Fruit Festival is an annual event to introduce, promote and connect agricultural products, fruits and tourism services of Long Khanh City to people and tourists inside and outside Dong Nai province.

In 2023, the Long Khanh Fruit Festival will take place from June 15 to June 23 with many diverse activities, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere in Long Khanh City. The festival is held at the main location at Long Khanh Victory Beer Park (Xuan An Ward).

The highlight of the Long Khanh Fruit Festival 2023 is: "Week honoring fruits and OCOP products of Dong Nai province in 2023" organized by the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, with the participation of farmers, business households, and enterprises from districts and cities in Dong Nai province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, said: "This year is the second consecutive year that Long Khanh City has coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province to organize the "Week to honor fruits and OCOP products of Dong Nai province in 2023". The event gradually affirms the importance of the agricultural sector of Long Khanh City in particular and Dong Nai province in general".

"Currently, the whole province has 76,572 hectares of fruit growing area, forming 300 concentrated production areas with many types of fruits with large growing areas such as durian, banana, mango, grapefruit, rambutan which are the province's strengths and have great potential," Mr. Thang added.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province, Head of the organizing committee of "Dong Nai Province OCOP Fruit and Product Honor Week 2023", spoke at the press conference.

In addition, the announcement ceremony of the first official durian export shipment to China will also be held on the morning of June 16 at Long Khanh Stadium.

This is an important activity marking a significant step forward in the development of international trade of Long Khanh fruit products. The program will also include a ceremony to launch 25 container trucks carrying a shipment of over 400 tons of durian for export to China.

The program will also have cultural, musical, sports, entertainment, culinary festivals, fruit garden tourism activities and beautiful, fresh and romantic landscapes that will bring visitors to the festival sublime emotions, joy and happiness with family, relatives and friends.

Through the activities, the Organizing Committee of Long Khanh Fruit Festival hopes to bring to visitors a beautiful image of Long Khanh city "Green - Safe - Modern - Civilized".
