Launch Ceremony of Youth Month 2024

Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, attended and directed the ceremony. Also present were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and Bui Mai Hoa, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group; provincial departments and agencies; leaders of the Ninh Binh City Party Committee; members of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee; and more than 3,000 youth union members and young people from the province.

To begin the ceremony, delegates enjoyed a cultural program themed "Youthful Aspirations," featuring performances celebrating love for the homeland, national pride, and the desire to contribute of young people.

Launching the Youth Month 2024, Comrade Trinh Nhu Lam, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, emphasized the key tasks for Youth Month as follows: Propagating and educating youth union members about the historical traditions of the land and people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the glorious traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.

Launch Ceremony of Youth Month 2024 — Comrade Trinh Nhu Lam, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Organize activities to promote the pioneering, volunteer, and creative spirit of young people in building and protecting the Fatherland, in digital transformation; and activities to support young people in starting businesses, establishing careers, and integrating into the international community.

Implement activities to support disadvantaged youth, lonely elderly people, and community health care; strengthen and build strong Youth Union and Association organizations, expand the front of solidarity and gathering of young people, and actively participate in building and protecting the Party and the political system.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged and praised the pioneering and volunteer spirit of the Youth Union members and young people, the proactive, creative, and highly determined efforts of the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province; especially the thousands of specific and practical projects and tasks carried out during the annual Youth Month.

The comrade also emphasized: 2024 is a crucial year in implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels and the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the 2021-2025 Five-Year Plan; and the orientations of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Ninh Binh province until 2035, with a vision to 2045. Realizing these goals and tasks requires the efforts and high determination of all levels, sectors, localities, and the people of the province; including the important contributions of the Youth Union at all levels, its members, and young people throughout the province.

To ensure that Youth Month 2024 is effective, practical, safe, and showcases the talents, intelligence, and strength of young people, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that all levels of the Youth Union, Youth Association, and Children's Union in the province focus on educating and fostering revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyles, and love for the homeland; arousing and promoting pride in the glorious traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; and instilling in the awareness and responsibility of the younger generation towards their homeland, country, community, and society.

Actively advise Party committees and authorities to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for Youth Union, Youth Association, and Children's Union organizations to implement their activities; promote and diversify the content and forms of organizing activities; strengthen coordination and mobilize maximum resources for implementation.

Each level of the Youth Union needs a specific, appropriate, and highly feasible plan to organize vibrant, continuous, and widespread activities; focusing on disadvantaged areas and new, challenging tasks such as: participating in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; preserving and promoting heritage values; administrative reform and digital transformation; and disseminating information and mobilizing support for the implementation of plans and projects for the reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units... The goal is to achieve the highest possible results to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Regularly nurture, strengthen, and build strong Youth Union, Youth Association, and Young Pioneer organizations; increase the rate of youth solidarity and mobilization; and actively participate in building the Party and the political system.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that with the youthful energy and enthusiasm of the youth union members, along with the effective attention, coordination, and support from all levels, sectors, localities, units, and the people of the province, the Youth Month 2024 will be a great success.

Immediately afterwards, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, and other units pressed the symbolic button, officially launching the Youth Month 2024.

Also during the program, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Youth Union, and partner units presented plaques for the "Youth Tree Planting" project to the Ninh Binh City Youth Union; donated 30 health insurance cards, 60 gift packages, and 15 bicycles to students and families in difficult circumstances; and presented maps of Vietnam to 14 grassroots Youth Union units in response to the "Proud of Our Homeland" campaign launched by the Central Youth Union.

Presenting the youth project of digitizing historical addresses and providing free Wi-Fi hotspots to Ninh Binh city and Nho Quan district; demonstrating 3D digitization technology at two historical sites: the memorial area of Comrade Luong Van Thang, the first Communist Party Secretary of Ninh Binh (Lu Phong village, Quynh Luu commune, Nho Quan district) and the monument of Heroic Martyr Luong Van Tuy (Non Nuoc Mountain historical site).
