Youth Month 2024 Launch Ceremony

Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and directed the ceremony. Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Mai Hoa, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Commission.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group; provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of the Ninh Binh City Party Committee; Standing members of the Provincial Youth Union and more than 3,000 union members and youth in the province.

At the beginning of the ceremony, delegates enjoyed a performance with the theme "Youthful Aspirations", including performances praising the love of homeland and country, the pride and desire to contribute of the youth.

Launching Youth Month 2024, comrade Trinh Nhu Lam, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Youth Union Secretary emphasized the key tasks of Youth Month as follows: Propagating andeducating youth union members about the traditional history of the land and people of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.

Organize activities to promote the spirit of vanguard, volunteerism and creativity of young people in building and defending the Fatherland, in digital transformation; activities to accompany young people in starting a business, establishing a career and international integration.

Implement activities to support disadvantaged youth and children, lonely elderly people, and provide community health care; strengthen and build strong Youth Union and Association organizations, expand the solidarity front, gather young people, and actively participate in Party building, protecting the Party and the political system.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the spirit of volunteerism of the Youth Union members and youth, the initiative, creativity and determination of the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province; especially the thousands of specific and practical works and tasks carried out during the annual Youth Month.

He also emphasized: The year 2024 is of great significance in implementing the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the 5-year Plan 2021-2025; the orientations of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Ninh Binh province to 2035, with a vision to 2045. To realize those goals and tasks, it requires great efforts and determination from all levels, sectors, localities and people in the province; including important contributions from the Youth Union at all levels, union members and youth of the whole province.

In order for the Youth Month 2024 to take place effectively, practically, safely, demonstrating the talent, intelligence and strength of the youth, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the Youth Union, Association and Pioneers at all levels in the province focus on educating and fostering revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyle, love for the homeland and country; arousing and promoting pride in the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; awareness and responsibility of the young generation towards the homeland, country, community and society.

Actively advise the Party Committee and the government to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for the Youth Union, Association and Team to implement the contents and activities; promote and diversify the contents and forms of organizing activities; strengthen coordination and mobilize maximum resources for implementation.

Each level of the Youth Union needs to have a specific, suitable, highly feasible plan to organize activities actively, continuously and widely; focus on difficult areas, new and difficult tasks such as: participating in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas; preserving and promoting heritage values; administrative reform, digital transformation; propaganda and mobilization in the implementation of plans and projects to rearrange administrative units at district and commune levels... Practically achieve the highest achievements to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Regularly care for, consolidate and build strong Youth Union, Association and Team organizations; increase the rate of solidarity and youth gathering; actively participate in Party building and the political system.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his belief that with the youthfulness and enthusiasm of union members and young people, together with the attention, coordination and effective support of all levels, sectors, localities, units and people in the province, Youth Month 2024 will be a great success.

Immediately afterwards, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Youth Union and units pressed the symbolic button, officially launching Youth Month 2024.

Also in the program, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Youth Union and accompanying units presented the plaque of the "Youth Tree Row" project to the Ninh Binh City Youth Union; presented 30 health insurance cards, 60 gifts and 15 bicycles to students and families in difficult circumstances; presented maps of Vietnam to 14 grassroots Youth Union units in response to the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and river" launched by the Central Youth Union.

Presenting the youth project of Digitizing Red Addresses and Free Wifi Hotspots to Ninh Binh City and Nho Quan District; demonstrating 3D digital technology at 2 historical sites: Memorial site of comrade Luong Van Thang, the first Communist Party Cell Secretary of Ninh Binh (Lu Phong village, Quynh Luu commune, Nho Quan district) and Monument of Heroic Martyr Luong Van Tuy (Non Nuoc Mountain Historical Site).
