In addition to launching many quality and valuable publications on the occasion of the New Year, many publishers and book companies have jointly organized book giving events, not only contributing to preserving the good traditions of our ancestors, but also partly encouraging reading culture.
One can mention the project Happy New Year Books under the Cay Nen ecosystem initiated by Professor Phan Van Truong - advisor to the French Government on international trade. The program has the participation of publishing units such as Tre Publishing House, Kim Dong Publishing House, Thai Ha Books, Tan Viet Books, Alpha Books... to call on everyone to give each other good and meaningful books on the occasion of the New Year.
The event to introduce the project Celebrating the Book Age took place at the end of January.
Mr. Truong shared: "A developed, civilized, moral, and beautiful country is thanks to books. Familyeducation is 30%. School is 20%. Self-study, self-reasoning, self-choosing style and philosophy of life are in books. I encourage us to foster this movement. This is the shortest way for the country to have high culture. No country can become a powerful country without high culture."
He also added, "High culture will eliminate crime, theft, and thoughtless behavior... The Book Festival project is extremely necessary. If we don't do it, the country will be slow to transform."
Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Thai Ha Books, said that he and his colleagues have prepared nearly 3,000 books for the book festival events at Book Street, Book Street, Book Street Festival and Spring Book Street in Hanoi as well as Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to this project, this year the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Tet Book Street also presented 6,000 books and 1,000 audiobook accounts to visitors to the Book Street Festival along Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Book Lucky Money program was originally planned to only take place on the first day of Tet, but with the enthusiastic participation of publishing units, this initiative is expected to be extended to the following days until the books run out.
