With the participation of 32 clubs representing 6 football federations around the world , the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 takes place from June 15 to July 14 (Vietnam time), at 12 stadiums in 11 major cities in the US.
12 top European teams, including Real Madrid and Man City, will represent UEFA. CONMEBOL will have six South American teams, while Asia (AFC), Africa (CAF) and North & Central America (CONCACAF) will each have four clubs. Oceania (OFC) will be given one spot, with the final spot going to the United States as hosts.
The competition format of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is similar to the FIFA World Cup for national teams: 32 teams are divided into 8 groups, each group consists of 4 teams competing in a round-robin.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16, continuing the knockout phase to the final. One notable point is that the tournament will not have a third-place match.

A total of 63 matches will take place within a month - an unprecedented competition density at club level.
The group stage runs from June 15 to 27, with 48 matches (mostly four per day). The opening match on June 15 is a notable clash between Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami and African champions Al Ahly, taking place at 7am at the Hard Rock in Miami.
The Round of 16 will be held from June 28 to July 2. The quarter-finals will take place on July 5 and 6, and the semi-finals on July 9 and 10. The final is scheduled for 2 a.m. on July 14 at MetLife (New Jersey) - the venue for the 2026 World Cup final.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is expected to be a grand dress rehearsal for the 2026 World Cup, which will also be held in the US, Canada and Mexico.
With the gathering of a series of world-class stars such as Messi, Mbappe, Haaland... the tournament promises to not only be a stage for continental representatives, but also a place to affirm the global position of club football.
