High school graduation exam schedule 2025 for candidates following the 2006 and 2018 General Education Program

(To Quoc) - On March 24, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) issued Official Dispatch No. 1239/BGDĐT-QLCL on instructions on some contents of organizing the 2025 High School Graduation Exam to the Departments of Education and Training; Department of Schools - Ministry of National Defense.

Accordingly, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be held on June 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2025. Of which: June 25, 2025 is for exam registration procedures; June 26, 27, 2025 is for exam supervision; June 28, 2025 is reserved.

Particularly for the organization of exams for candidates taking the exam with the exam questions of the 2006 General Education Program, based on the number of candidates registering for the exam, the Departments of Education and Training will arrange a number of exam locations specifically for candidates. Candidates can register for the exam, register for graduation recognition in person or online. The time frames in the organization of the exam and the codes of the exam councils are implemented according to this Official Dispatch.

According to this document, the Department of Education and Training will closely coordinate with local departments and branches to ensure proper implementation of the Examination Regulations, this guiding document and instructions on coordinating the organization of the examination by competent authorities (if any). The work of ensuring the safety and security of the Examination will continue to be carried out according to the Instructions on coordinating the implementation of the task of ensuring the security and safety of the High School Graduation Examination.

The Departments of Education and Training shall implement the reporting regime in a timely manner, in accordance with the prescribed forms, fully update data and check accuracy before reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training.

If any unusual situation arises that affects the preparation and organization of the exam, especially the stages of printing, invigilation, grading, and review, the units must immediately report to the Standing Committee of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

In April and May 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize technical training conferences on organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam for all localities.

Exam results will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, 2025.
