According to the organizers, the second Ho Chi Minh City - New Colors photo contest continues to honor the cultural and human values of the expanded Ho Chi Minh City, from bustling central areas to new lands with sea and mountains, brimming with traditional culture; it aims to inspire community cohesion, so that each citizen becomes an "emotional ambassador" through their own photographs, while promoting the image of the new city nationwide and internationally, contributing to the promotion of tourism, creative economy , sustainable development, and enhancing the status of the post-merger megacity.

Springtime, Urban Spring , and City-wide Affection converge in the Ho Chi Minh City - New Colors photo contest.

While the first competition focused on capturing the optimism and positive energy of Ho Chi Minh City's people during its transitional period, the second competition, themed "New Spring Colors - New Hope, " represents a continuation and portrays a larger, more diverse, deeper, and more hopeful city.
