Folk song festival of clubs (expanded) Van Quan district

– On August 15, the People's Committee of Van Quan district organized the folk song festival of the (expanded) Van Quan district clubs in 2023.

Representatives of the festival organizing committee presented souvenir flags to participating delegations.

The festival is attended by 17 groups, each group consists of at least 10 members who are artisans and actors from clubs from 17 communes and towns. Coming to the festival, each group builds a program including folk songs, folk dances, traditional music of the Tay, Nung ethnic groups... and performs for at least 15 minutes, no more than 25 minutes.

The content of the performances focuses on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the innovation of the homeland and country, reflecting daily life, labor and production; the performances are imbued with the cultural identity of local ethnic groups and the historical traditions of the homeland.

Through the festival, the awareness of all levels, sectors and people of all walks of life is raised, raising their sense of responsibility in the work of preserving, conserving and promoting traditional cultural values associated with the construction and development of Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country. At the same time, it is an opportunity for delegation members to exchange and learn experiences in the work of preserving and promoting national cultural heritage.

The folk song festival program of the (expanded) Clubs of Van Quan district is one of the practical activities to celebrate the event of comrade Luong Van Tri being recognized as a typical senior leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; on the occasion of the 113th anniversary of comrade Luong Van Tri's birth (August 17, 1910 - August 17, 2023).

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 6 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 11 C prizes, 13 consolation prizes and 3 thematic prizes for the performances. Regarding the overall group prize, Diem He commune won first prize.

The festival organizing committee awarded first and second prizes to the participating delegations.
