Strong political commitment

HNN - The 1st Congress of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is an important political event, marking a turning point in the process of building, consolidating and perfecting the Party organization in accordance with the development requirements of the city in the new period - the period of accelerated development, entering the era of national growth.

This is the first congress since the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies was established after the end of the Party Committee of the City Agencies and Enterprises. With the theme: "Promoting the role of the political nucleus; building a clean and strong Party; enhancing comprehensive leadership capacity, building Hue City to develop rapidly and sustainably", the congress is an opportunity to affirm the stature, mettle and spirit of innovation of the entire Party Committee, a place to gather the intelligence, responsibility and aspirations of dedication of the staff and Party members of the Party agencies.

Core role

Since its establishment with 23 branches, grassroots party committees and more than 500 party members, up to now, after the process of organizational consolidation, the Party Committee of the city's Party agencies has 12 grassroots party organizations (TCCSĐ) with more than 800 party members, which are the core and main force in the city's political system.

The subordinate TCCSĐs are party organizations in key agencies of the city, such as: Organization Committee, Inspection Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Internal Affairs Committee, City Party Committee Office, Nguyen Chi Thanh Political School, City People's Council, City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, People's Procuracy, People's Court and City Newspaper, Radio and Television Party Committee.

With the core role, the Party Committees of Party agencies have actively contributed to the work of advising and effectively organizing the implementation of all aspects of Party building and political system building, contributing to improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of Party organizations and the effectiveness of state management.

Although it was only recently established, the Party Committee has affirmed its pioneering role in implementing the resolutions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee; organizing the study, dissemination, and concretization of policies into practical actions. The aspects of political and ideological work, inspection, supervision, cadre organization, mass mobilization, and propaganda have been implemented methodically, synchronously, and achieved many clear results.

New Aspirations

The period 2025 - 2030 is of decisive significance to the rapid and sustainable development of Hue City in its role as a centrally-run city. The new context places higher and more comprehensive demands on the contingent of cadres and party members in the Party Committee of the city's Party agencies, who play a key role in strategic advice and organizing the implementation of political tasks.

In that spirit, the Congress identified the key objectives: Building the Party Committees of the city's Party agencies to be truly clean and strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres. Promoting the role of the political core, improving the quality of the contingent of cadres and party members; enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Central Committee; creating a clear change in the work of advising, assisting and serving the political tasks of the City Party Committee, contributing to building Hue city to develop comprehensively, worthy of being a centrally-run city.

The Congress motto “Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation - Development” is the crystallization of political tasks and practical action, demonstrating the determination and aspirations of all cadres and party members in the Party Committee. “Solidarity” is the foundation and driving force to create consensus and unity in the perception and action of the entire Party Committee. “Exemplary” is the principle and political requirement for each cadre and party member - those working in Party agencies, to always be pioneers, take the lead, and set an example in studying, working, and training. “Innovation” is an urgent requirement in the current period, especially in the context of digital transformation, administrative reform, Party building, and a streamlined, effective, and efficient political system. “Development” is the ultimate goal, the measure of success of the term, demonstrated through the quality of the Party organization, the staff and the effectiveness of the implementation of advisory, leadership and service tasks for the overall development of the city.

Promoting collective intelligence

An important highlight of this congress is to promote collective intelligence, build a democratic and open atmosphere in contributing ideas to build documents, directions, and personnel. The opinions of the branches and affiliated party committees will clarify key issues, from ideological work to organizational building, inspection and supervision work, personnel work, and communication activities to serve political tasks.

The Congress especially emphasized the exemplary role of Party committee members, heads of agencies and units, and those who play a leading role in organizing and implementing assigned tasks.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee continues to promote the implementation of the Central Resolution 4 of the 11th, 12th and 13th terms on Party building and rectification in conjunction with Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05 of the Politburo . Building the image of "dedicated, responsible, professional and honest" cadres and party members is a consistent orientation in the work of building, evaluating, planning and using cadres.

The first Congress of Hue City Party Committee is a momentous event, demonstrating the political mettle, sense of responsibility and development aspirations of all cadres and party members. The Congress not only summarizes the process of building and perfecting the party organization but also opens a new stage of development, with a strategic vision and strong determination for innovation.

With the motto "Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation - Development", and the profound and consistent theme of action: "Promoting the role of the political nucleus; building a clean and strong Party; enhancing comprehensive leadership capacity, building Hue city to develop rapidly and sustainably", the congress is a strong political commitment, demonstrating the determination of the entire Party Committee in contributing to building Hue city to be increasingly civilized, modern, rich in identity and worthy of the status of a heritage city under the Central Government.
