Long An and Vingroup join hands to create a green, sustainable future

On March 28, the People's Committee of Long An province and Vingroup Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation, opening a journey towards the goal of green transformation, digital transformation and sustainable development for Long An province in the period of 2025 - 2030, joining hands to implement the Government's commitment to the goal of net zero emissions by 2050.

According to the cooperation agreement, Long An and Vingroup will jointly build and implement a green transformation, green growth, and sustainable development program with key areas such as green urban infrastructure and green transportation: Launching the movement "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future", encouraging the use of electric vehicles and electric buses; at the same time, developing a widespread system of electric charging stations.

Green economy : Support businesses in the tourism, industry and agriculture sectors to transform green, transform digitally, encourage smart manufacturing initiatives and create cooperation opportunities for Long An businesses in Vingroup's supply chain.

Green Growth: Together we build carbon credit projects, aiming to participate in the international carbon credit trading market.

Green lifestyle: Coordinate the organization of communication activities and events to raise public awareness of green lifestyle, encourage the use of high-quality Vietnamese products and develop environmentally friendly tourism and transportation.
