Flood washed away the foundation, leaving the railway suspended.

On the afternoon of November 21, a representative of Phu Khanh Railway Exploitation Branch said that prolonged rain and floods had caused landslides and damaged a railway section in the Nha Trang - Cay Cay section (Suoi Hiep commune) with a length of about 100m and a depth of nearly 10m.

The railway was left suspended because the flood washed away the roadbed.

Continuous heavy rains caused the floodwaters to flow rapidly, washing away the roadbed, leaving the rail tracks hanging. The railway industry has temporarily stopped trains due to deep flooding for many days, and now continues to stop all trains passing through the South Central region. Currently, units are waiting for the weather to stabilize to urgently fix this landslide section.
