Brigade 172 sponsors two students in Nui Thanh commune.

DNO - On the morning of August 28th, Brigade 172 of the 3rd Naval Region Command organized a ceremony to sponsor students who are children of fishermen from disadvantaged backgrounds in Nui Thanh commune.

Brigade 172 is sponsoring two students: Do Quoc Phong (born in 2011, Dong An village), an orphan whose father passed away and whose household is near-poor; and Huynh Tan Tai (born in 2017, Dong Binh village), whose household is also near-poor.

The unit provides a living and study allowance of 500,000 VND per month per child from contributions by officers and soldiers and from social sources until the children reach the age of 18; at the same time, it regularly coordinates with local authorities to visit, encourage, and create the best conditions for the children to pursue their educational dreams.
