Brigade 189 organizes many gratitude activities on major holidays

On April 26, the Youth Union of the 189th Navy Submarine Brigade held a ceremony to offer incense and flowers to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial and the Cam Ranh Political Prisoner Martyrs Memorial on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy.

The cadres, union members and youths offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time, together reviewed the historical significance and glorious feats of our army and people in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, completely liberating the South, unifying the country, liberating the Truong Sa archipelago and the glorious feats of the Vietnam People's Navy in 70 years of building, fighting and growing.

In addition, the brigade visited and presented gifts to policy families in the area; expressing deep affection and gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, martyrs' families, and those who contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification.
