Kate Simonds is a family law attorney with the Simonds Law Firm based in Arizona, USA.
Her post on her personal Instagram page about her career and affair quickly spread across social networks.
In fact, couples have affairs for many different reasons. Each profession has its own characteristics, in which the joys, sorrows, and worries can only be understood by those in the profession.
Based on her many years of experience as a lawyer dealing with family issues and divorce cases, Kate points out the occupations with high rates of infidelity in the US.
The first three jobs Kate revealed were pilot and flight attendant, soldier, and bartender.
Police are also among the professions that are prone to adultery. And finally, according to lawyer Kate, the profession with the highest chance of adultery is firefighting.

Kate's post received a lot of attention from netizens. Besides those who agreed with her list, some people objected and criticized it.
Her supporters say the five jobs she listed all have basic things in common, such as being away from home and working late at night. "Basically, men in these job groups spend most of their lives working," one internet user commented.
Several others admitted that they had indeed been deceived and betrayed by their partners, who were pilots, bartenders, police officers and firefighters.
However, many critics of Kate said that sharing this list affects many families. Every profession has good people, bad people, many different personalities. Infidelity is a matter of personality, not profession.
"The firefighters I know are all exemplary family men. I object"; "As a female firefighter, I cannot agree with you. My male colleagues do not have affairs either"; "Adultery is a matter of personality, not profession. Look at each person's personality"... netizens commented.
