Provincial Armed Forces: Building cultural life in residential areas

In order to contribute to the locality in building a cultural lifestyle, in recent years, in addition to the directive of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on implementing the campaign "Building a rich and healthy cultural environment in military units", the armed forces of Tay Ninh province have also actively responded to campaigns organized by the province such as the campaign "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", "The whole people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", the model "Cultural family", "Typical cultural unit", and at the same time determined that this is a major revolutionary action movement, with important significance both in the short term and in the long term.

The Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have incorporated the content of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the movement to build a rich and healthy cultural environment in military units into resolutions and military-defense task plans to lead and direct units and localities to seriously and effectively implement it .

In addition, the units also promote propaganda andeducation through forms such as seminars, research competitions, launching emulation movements and cultural and artistic - sports activities, internal radio broadcasting, national defense programs... to make the movement permeate deeply into the thoughts and actions, becoming a goal to strive for in the study and training of each officer and soldier in the provincial military.

Leaders of the Provincial Military Command and Chau Thanh District Party Committee presented gifts to disadvantaged households.

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" in 2024, officers and soldiers of the provincial military supported the construction and presented 2 outdoor sports facilities to parishes in the area with a total cost of 1 billion VND; mobilized and coordinated with the Party Committees of districts, towns and cities to start construction of 30 houses adjacent to the Border Militia Post with a total cost of 7 billion VND; visited and presented gifts to residential areas, policy households in the area, ethnic groups and religions during the year with a total cost of over 1.6 billion VND; built and handed over 36 houses of military-civilian affection and great solidarity; coordinated with the People's Committees of Trang Bang town and Chau Thanh district to organize the program "Military-civilian Tet - Soldier Spring", with a cost of over 600 million VND, leaving behind good feelings and images of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people, contributing to encouraging and motivating people to work hard, produce, develop the economy, and build a healthy cultural life in residential areas.

In addition, the provincial armed forces participated in mass mobilization work with 71,083 working days; together with sectors and local Party committees and authorities, repaired and built houses, visited, gave gifts, examined and provided medicine, and provided material support, with a total cost of over 2.5 billion VND.
