The President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), Madam Pang (billionaire Nualphan Lamsam), has just received a sponsorship of up to 200 million baht over 4 years (about 161 billion VND), to help develop and promote football activities in this country.

Even with sponsorship, Madam Pang still has to earn money to pay off debt to FAT

According to Thai newspaper Siamsport , the sponsorship money Madam Pang just received is only to support FAT in developing and promoting football activities in the country at all levels. The sponsorship comes from PTT company with a total value of more than 200 million baht and is expected to last for 4 years.

In the immediate future, FAT will receive about 25 million baht (more than 20.1 billion VND), the remaining amount (about 25 million baht more) to round out the annual support level of 50 million baht, is expected to be provided in the coming time.

This timely financial support will help FAT immediately start preparing to organize the Federation Cup tournament of this football agency on July 16. In addition, the King's Cup will take place from September 1 to 9, with 4 participating teams already determined, including the host team Thailand, and the invited teams Iraq, Hong Kong and Fiji.

Meanwhile, from July 15 to 29, the U.23 Thailand team will participate in the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament in Indonesia. Madam Pang also said that the coaching staff of the U.23 team has been changed, with the new head coach Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul officially replacing the Japanese coach, Takayuki Nishigaya. However, the Thai women's team still retains coach Futoshi Ikeda, as does the coach of the men's team Masatada Ishii (both Japanese).

According to Siamsport , Madam Pang is still trying to stabilize all activities of Thai football, maintaining both the structure, developing young players and upgrading all Thai national teams. She has been working continuously to find more financial support for the federation, solving the financial difficulties of the past time.

Besides these activities, Madam Pang still promotes the program "Thai people love Thai football" to find more money, continue to pay the debt that FAT owes Siam Sport company after losing the lawsuit up to 360 million baht with interest (nearly 300 billion VND) before.

Madam Pang directly paid the second installment of 20 million baht (about 15.9 billion VND) to Siam Sport Company on June 27. Previously, on April 23, she also paid the first debt to this company with her own money, with the amount of 25 million baht (more than 20 billion VND).
