The Miss and Runner-up teams have just "landed" at the Miss World Vietnam 2023 final announcement ceremony, taking place in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh. Miss Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong appeared prominently in the final days of her term as Miss World Vietnam with a luxurious and charming appearance.

The beauty wore an outfit created by designer Le Ngoc Lam, inspired by waves to honor both strong and gentle beauty.

Le Ngoc Lam said he was close to Mai Phuong throughout her tenure as beauty queen, so he clearly understood the body proportions of the beauty born in 1999.

The designer focused on highlighting Mai Phuong's small waist and slender shoulders, so he directly emphasized the waistline, built a corset, and elaborately embellished it to create a visual effect.

The designer used see-through mesh fabric to create a shape at the chest that looked like a layer of rolling waves, hugging the beauty's soft body.

With the characteristic fishtail shape, Le Ngoc Lam chose silk as the main material to make the design look softer and more graceful.

On the red carpet of the event, Mai Phuong was praised for looking elegant and moderately sexy. After nearly a year of being crowned, the beauty has increasingly perfected her beauty before attending Miss World.

Besides Mai Phuong, beauty queens like Thien An, Bao Ngoc and Kieu Loan also chose Le Ngoc Lam dresses on the red carpet of the event.

Miss Thien An wore a custom-made dress, shaped like rolling waves hugging the beauty's shoulders. This highlight is made of 3D frames with more than 200 reinforced frames inside, creating a firm yet soft look to depict delicate wavy waves of varying sizes. On the solid-colored dress, Le Ngoc Lam used a corset frame to create a waistline, completely flattering her figure.

Wearing a dress made from over 200 meters of mesh fabric cut with thousands of very small layers, creating an image like white foaming sea water, Miss Bao Ngoc was praised as a princess coming out of a fairy tale. Le Ngoc Lam said that he used the layering technique to create a random order for the body of the dress to increase the softness of each of Bao Ngoc's movements.

The chest of the dress is embellished like a seashell, hugging the bust with sparkling stones, honoring the charm of Miss Intercontinental 2022.

With Kieu Loan's unique taste in fashion, Le Ngoc Lam created a dress for her with a stylized chest part in the shape of a fishtail, following the current mermaid inspiration. The upper part of the dress is made of skin-colored mesh fabric combined with Swarovski stone and white beading techniques to create delicate, light-catching openings.

Le Ngoc Lam uses imported silk to create a fishtail shape, helping Kieu Loan look like a soft, graceful mermaid when moving as if she were under shimmering water.

The designer said that his creations this time were inspired by the ocean but were implemented in new ways with pure white tones.

As a designer who has worked closely with the Golden Lotus beauty queens, Le Ngoc Lam knows how to honor the beauty queens' bodies and moderately sexy, intellectual beauty.

Le Ngoc Lam was born in 1990 in Ho Chi Minh City, graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture. He won the second prize of Aquafina Pure Fashion, the second prize of Triumph Inspiration Award, and was a judge in many beauty contests.

During his career, he made a splash with the collections Love Letter in the Clouds, Blooming Fungi, Stars and most recently Savour Des Paris.

In addition to regularly collaborating with beauty queens such as Ky Duyen, Do My Linh, Luong Thuy Linh... Le Ngoc Lam has also collaborated with Miss Universe Riyo Mori and Miss Universe Leila Lopes.
