The 18-year-old's arrival at the Etihad is a huge boost for Man City, who beat a host of Premier League rivals including Arsenal and Aston Villa to sign Sverre Nypan.
He becomes Man City's 5th signing in the summer transfer window of 2025, after Marcus Bettinelli, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders.

Sharing on Man City's homepage after signing the contract, Nypan excitedly said: "I am extremely happy and proud to join Man City.
It is any young player's dream to be part of Man City and work with a world -class group of talent.
I'm still very young and have a lot to learn, but the opportunity to be coached by Pep Guardiola will help me become a better player.
There is a special bond between my fellow countrymen at Man City, through Erling Haaland and Oscar Bobb. I am proud to be the latest Norwegian to join the club."
Nypan was previously known as one of Europe's most promising teenage talents, making his debut for Rosenborg's first team at the age of 15.
Sverre Nypan is quite versatile, able to play on the wing or as a striker when needed. He has made 70 appearances for Rosenborg, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.
