A feast for the eyes with the parade demonstrating the strength of the capital's youth

TPO – On the morning of October 15, within the framework of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi , term 2024 – 2029, a parade to demonstrate the youth force of the capital took place. This is an opportunity to honor the youth, enthusiasm and dedication of Hanoi youth, the generations of “both red and professional” youth who have been contributing to building the capital and the country to become more and more developed, civilized and modern.

The vibrant and unique Lion – Lion – Dragon dance and drum performance opened the parade to welcome the 8th Congress of the Hanoi Youth Union.

The Youth Block of residential areas represents the youth force living, studying, working and contributing in districts, towns and cities across the capital. The Youth Block of residential areas not only plays the role of a bridge between the Party, local government and the people, but is also a leading force in revolutionary movements, especially activities related to building a new cultural life, maintaining security and order and protecting the environment.

The parade program to show off the strength of the 8th Congress of Hanoi Youth Union, including the following groups: Young Entrepreneurs; Military Youth; Blood Donation Youth Association; Youth in Residential Areas; Young Doctors Association; Ethnic Youth; Youth Color Block (including religious youth, disabled youth and the Hanoi 5,000 Rice volunteer group); Police Youth; Youth of professional and hobby clubs; Off-road Pickup Truck Club.

Performance of the Army Youth Union. Over the years, the Youth Union has been proactive and creative in performing well all tasks in many fields, contributing to raising the position and prestige of the army and the country in the international arena, beautifying the image and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.

The proud parade of the Hanoi City Police Youth Union. This is an elite youth force, representing strength, courage and responsibility in protecting security, order and social safety for the Capital. The Capital Police Youth always carry within them the spirit of vanguard, creativity, not afraid of difficulties and hardships. They are typical examples in patriotic emulation movements, participating in protecting traffic order and safety, preventing crimes and social evils.

Parade of Ethnic Youth – typical representatives of ethnic minority communities living and working in the capital.

Carrying their own distinctive colors, each marching group is a typical representative, carrying the pride of youth organizations throughout the capital; they themselves have contributed to creating a vivid and colorful picture of the capital's youth, clearly demonstrating the aspirations to rise up, the sense of responsibility and love for the country of the young generation.

After the parade to show the strength of the blocs, the "Sacred Flame" was lit by the torch bearer from the Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum - the flame of the spirit: "Patriotism - Pioneer - Exemplary - Solidarity - Creativity - Reaching out", will be received and lit on the flagpole by Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien - Member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City, demonstrating the spirit of aspiration and dedication of the youth of the Capital to welcome the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City, term 2024 - 2029.
