Attending the Workshop on the side of E Hospital were Dr. Tran Dac Dai (Children's Cardiology Department); reporters and pediatric cardiology experts. On the side of Lai Chau Provincial General Hospital, there were Dr. Dao Viet Hung - Director of the Hospital and the Board of Directors of the Provincial General Hospital; representatives of departments, offices and more than 100 doctors, nurses and technicians working at the unit.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Dao Viet Hung - Director of the Provincial General Hospital emphasized: Congenital heart disease is a group of diseases with a high frequency and leaves serious consequences if not detected and treated promptly. This workshop is an important opportunity for the provincial medical team to update new knowledge in diagnosing, treating and managing patients with common and critical congenital heart disease, thereby improving the quality of treatment and reducing the rate of unnecessary referrals.

At the workshop, doctors and reporters from E Hospital provided many practical contents such as: Overview of common congenital heart diseases; classification of severity; role of echocardiography in early diagnosis of congenital heart disease in infants and young children; congenital heart screening process at provincial hospitals; treatment of common congenital heart diseases.

At the end of the workshop, the delegates highly appreciated the applicability of the topic's content. At the same time, they hoped that in the coming time, the Provincial General Hospital and E Hospital would continue to coordinate and organize more workshops, training sessions, and more in-depth training for each specific group of diseases. Thereby, contributing to improving the qualifications and professional skills of the team of doctors and medical staff working at the Provincial General Hospital to meet the increasing demand for health care of the people, aiming at patient satisfaction.
