Enjoy the spectacular fireworks display in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate April 30

According to the reporter, thousands of people have flocked to the area around the Saigon River Tunnel, Van Phuc Urban Area, and Dam Sen to prepare to watch the fireworks. The roads leading to this area are congested, many people have to park their vehicles far away to walk to the Bach Dang Wharf Park area, choose the best location, to have the best view of the fireworks.

At exactly 9:00 p.m., thousands of Ho Chi Minh City residents cheered as the first fireworks were shot into the sky, at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

This year, in Ho Chi Minh City, there are 5 locations for artistic fireworks from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., one high-altitude location at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city).

At Van Phuc Urban Area (Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City), Mr. Nguyen Huy Binh (Phu Nhuan District) and his wife and children went to a friend's house to celebrate the holiday and stayed to watch the fireworks. "It's been a long time since we've seen fireworks, so today my whole family had an early dinner and decided to wait two hours to see the fireworks," said Mr. Huy Binh.

Ms. Thuy Ha (living in District 3) said: “My whole family came early to let the kids watch the fireworks. The kids were very excited,” Ms. Ha said.

According to many people, watching fireworks brings good luck, so many people want to go see them in person instead of watching them on TV.

Along with the fireworks display at the Saigon River Tunnel, Ho Chi Minh City will organize 4 low-altitude displays at Thao Dien villa area (Thu Duc City), Van Phuc urban area (Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, Thu Duc City), vacant land area lot N4-D6, Tay Bac industrial park (Tan An Hoi commune, Cu Chi district) and Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11).

People living and working in Ho Chi Minh City and domestic and foreign tourists come to watch the fireworks display at Bach Dang Wharf.
