Quang Ngai: School damaged by earthquake

On October 6, Mang But 2 Boarding Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Mang But Commune, Quang Ngai Province) reported damage caused by the consecutive earthquakes that occurred in the early morning of the same day.

According to reports, the school's headquarters building, which houses a computer room and a classroom, suffered damage to the second floor tiled roof.

Four boarding rooms of 60 students had their walls cracked; five teachers' rooms had their roofs displaced and broken.

At Dak Chun school, two cracks appeared between the wall and the column; at Dak Lanh school, two classrooms had broken structures in the surrounding wall.

For now, the school will temporarily house 60 students in the art room and reading room; at the same time, it will temporarily stop teaching IT and remove all computers to ensure safety.
