On the morning of January 6th, at Cam Ranh Naval Port (Bac Cam Ranh Ward, Khanh Hoa Province), the Command of Naval Region 4 held a farewell ceremony for the delegation visiting and extending New Year greetings to the military and civilians in the Truong Sa Special Zone (Khanh Hoa Province).
Attending the event were Comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander of the 4th Naval Region; members of the Party Committee, heads of the Command and leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the 4th Naval Region; and representatives from departments, agencies, units, and organizations of Khanh Hoa province.
This year, the ships of the 4th Naval Region continue to deliver hundreds of tons of goods and Tet gifts to the islands of the Truong Sa Special Zone to care for and serve the daily lives of the soldiers and civilians on the islands during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse.
In addition to daily necessities, there are also many Tet gifts from localities, businesses, and people across the country sent to the soldiers and civilians on the archipelago.

Speaking at the farewell ceremony, Comrade Tran Phong emphasized that the activities of visiting and giving Tet gifts to the soldiers and people on the islands in the Truong Sa special zone are vivid evidence of the deep affection and the spirit of "the rear supporting the front lines," and the strong bond between the mainland and the remote islands.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province affirmed that the Party Committee, government, and people of Khanh Hoa province have always been a strong rear base, providing spiritual and material support for the military and people on the islands to work with peace of mind, contributing to the firm protection of the nation's maritime sovereignty .
Assigning tasks to the forces, Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan stated that the mission to deliver goods and Tet gifts to Truong Sa affirms the great concern of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , and the people of the whole country, as well as overseas Vietnamese, for the sacred islands and seas.
The task force is carrying out its mission in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), and with weather forecasts predicting complex developments at sea, the Commander of Region 4 expressed confidence that the officers and soldiers will demonstrate strong determination and unity, overcoming all challenges to bring the task force to Truong Sa safely and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
