Bringing "President Ho Chi Minh's Tet" to the people in the highlands.

The program, organized by the Nam Giang Charitable Association in collaboration with the Tam Lanh Family Group ( Da Nang city), is called "President Ho Chi Minh's Tet Celebration for the Highland People".

To organize this meaningful program, members of the Nam Giang Volunteer Association were present from 3 a.m. to prepare gifts and ingredients for cooking free meals.

Some were busy cooking, others wrapping gifts, and still others setting up the stage... everyone was working diligently, hoping to bring a truly fulfilling Independence Day celebration to those in need.

Mr. Tran Tan Tai, Chairman of the Nam Giang Charity Association, said that in this charity drive, the organization coordinated the distribution of more than 100 gift packages, including: rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, MSG, sugar, milk, dried fish, and lucky money envelopes worth 100,000 VND.

Gifts were handed directly to disadvantaged families and students before the start of the new school year, including school supplies such as bags, pens, notebooks, etc., with a total cost of nearly 70 million VND.

In addition, the program also provided a communal meal for nearly 300 people in Pa Dau 2 village. Amidst the mountainous landscape, the Co Tu people gathered together, enjoying a shared meal and celebrating this important day for their ethnic group.

After the meal, the atmosphere became even more lively with cultural performances, singing and dancing praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the people of the mountainous region; together, they reminisced about the glorious traditions and affirmed the cultural identity of the ethnic groups on the glorious path ahead.

"In the highlands, National Day is not simply a holiday, but a community cultural festival. It's an opportunity for people to reminisce about the history of the struggle for independence, affirm their pride, and demonstrate their spirit of unity."

According to Mr. Alang Um, Secretary of the Party Branch of Pa Dau 2 village, the local people always consider Independence Day as the biggest festival of the year, second only to Lunar New Year. It has become a tradition that every September 2nd, people gather, sing and dance, and cook a communal meal to celebrate the founding of the country.

According to Mr. Um, this year the local people are happier because they are celebrating National Day with the added support of charitable organizations. These gifts, though not substantial in material value, contain heartfelt kindness and warm sharing.

"Hopefully, meaningful programs like this will be maintained regularly, so that people in the highlands can have more spiritual joy and receive material support, working together for sustainable development," Mr. Alang Um emphasized.
