Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that the three parties pay more attention, promote and participate more closely in the Cooperation Program in the next phase.

According to VNA correspondent in Laos, on the afternoon of April 9, the 5th Conference of Chairmen of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Front took place in the capital Vientiane.
This is a meaningful activity in the long-term, stable and developing cooperative relationship between the three Front organizations of Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam.
Attending the conference were Ms. Samdech Mem Sam An, President of the National Council of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland; Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune, President of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction and Mr. Do Van Chien, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung, and many officials and staff of the 3 Front organizations of the 3 countries.
The conference heard a report on the results of the 3-year implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation Program between the 3 front agencies of the 3 countries in the past time, agreeing that the cooperation content between the 3 parties is increasingly substantive, extensive, effective and constantly developing comprehensively in all fields, contributing positively to the development of relations between the 3 countries.
Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that the three parties pay more attention, promote and participate more closely in the Cooperation Program in the next phase.
Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that in the coming time, the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Front should proactively exchange information, coordinate to promptly resolve difficulties, obstacles and new issues arising in the relationship between the three countries in general as well as between the Fronts of the three countries in particular in the spirit of brotherhood.
At the same time, Mr. Do Van Chien also proposed to continue to increase delegation exchanges at all levels, and to alternately organize conferences on building a peaceful , friendly border and cooperation for mutual development between the three countries.
Continue to promote propaganda to all classes of people of the three countries, especially the young generation, about the long-standing historical tradition of solidarity and closeness between the people of the three countries, while strengthening propaganda and raising people's awareness of border and territorial work, as well as the meaning and importance of border legal documents.
Encourage and facilitate the Fronts at all levels, especially districts and provinces sharing common borders, to increase exchanges and expand mutual support; enhance people-to-people exchanges to contribute to consolidating friendship, solidarity and cooperation in all fields.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien also asked Cambodia and Laos to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese people to live, work and study in Cambodia and Laos, emphasizing that Vietnam will also create favorable conditions for Lao and Cambodian people to live, work and study in Vietnam.
At the end of the Conference, the Presidents of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Front signed the Cooperation Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Council of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Fatherland and the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction for the period 2024-2027.
The three sides agreed to continue to promote information, propaganda andeducation work for all classes of people, especially the young generation, pupils and students of the three countries, to have a deep understanding and pride in the long-standing historical tradition of solidarity and attachment between the people of the three countries of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
Promote and encourage cooperation between the Fronts at all levels of the three countries through activities such as encouraging and facilitating the Fronts of provinces and districts sharing common borders to increase exchanges, expand cooperation and support each other to develop effective connecting infrastructure.
Create conditions for businessmen and enterprises of the three countries to participate in socio-economic development, encourage people in border areas to produce agricultural products, organize trade fairs and exchange agricultural products, exchange quality products with the aim of improving the quality of life, resolving superstition and combating illegal religious propaganda activities.
Encourage the fronts of provinces, cities and districts bordering the three countries to establish bilateral friendship associations and other forms of exchange and cooperation between mass organizations to contribute to strengthening friendship, solidarity and cooperation in all fields.
Develop specific plans to coordinate with all levels and sectors to enhance the teaching and learning of each other's languages to further enhance mutual understanding and contribute to developing solidarity and friendship among the people of the three countries.
On the same afternoon, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Chairman Do Van Chien was warmly received by General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith.

At the meeting, Mr. Do Van Chien reported to the General Secretary and President of Laos on the results of cooperation between the two agencies of the Vietnam-Laos Front in recent times, as well as the great success of the 5th Conference of Presidents of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Fronts that took place previously.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, at the end of the Conference, the three sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation Program for the period 2024-2027; affirming that in the coming time, the three Front organizations will focus on coordinating to effectively implement the contents of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, focusing on strengthening professional cooperation activities, exchanging work experiences; actively propagating and educating the people, especially the young generation, about the spirit of great friendship and special solidarity between Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam.
Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed and highly appreciated the working results between the three Front organizations of the three countries, affirming that this will contribute to further deepening the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia.
Emphasizing that in the coming time, the two organizations of the Laos-Vietnam Front in particular and the three organizations of the Laos-Cambodia-Vietnam Front in general need to continue to coordinate closely, increase information and experience exchange, and cooperate and help each other to strengthen the relationship between the three Front organizations of the three countries in particular and the relationship between the three countries in general./.
