In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Giang commune presided over and mobilized people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements. Coordinated with the government to build models of cultural residential areas, cultural ethnic groups, religions joining hands to protect the environment, residential areas that do not scatter votive papers during funerals... associated with maintaining and improving the criteria for building new rural communes.
The Binh Giang Commune Front coordinated with the Commune Women's Union to build 2 "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" roads with a total length of 900m; coordinated with the Commune Youth Union to build 3km of "Lighting up the Countryside Roads"; maintained the model of "Model Garden and Mixed Garden"...
By the end of 2023, Binh Giang commune had 92% of households recognized as cultural families, with 4 cultural villages. Supported the Gratitude Fund with 143 million VND, donated 20 savings books to policy families. The Commune Front helped 12 households escape poverty, 8 households escape near poverty; built and repaired 11 great solidarity houses.
This is the 8th commune-level locality of Thang Binh to organize a congress and will complete the grassroots Front congress in April and the district-level congress in June 2024.
