The Fatherland Front of Binh Giang commune helped 20 households escape poverty and near-poverty.

During the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Giang commune spearheaded and mobilized the people to effectively implement patriotic emulation movements. In coordination with the government, they developed models of cultural residential areas, cultural ethnic groups, religious communities working together to protect the environment, and residential areas that refrain from scattering votive paper during funerals… all while maintaining and improving the criteria for building a new rural commune.

The Bình Giang commune's Fatherland Front, in coordination with the Women's Union, constructed two "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" roads with a total length of 900m; collaborated with the commune's Youth Union to build 3km of "Lighting up rural roads"; and maintained the "Model Garden - Mixed Garden" model...

By the end of 2023, Binh Giang commune had 92% of households recognized as culturally exemplary families, and 4 culturally exemplary villages. The commune contributed 143 million VND to the Gratitude Fund and presented 20 savings accounts to families of policy beneficiaries. The commune's Fatherland Front helped 12 households escape poverty and 8 households escape near-poverty; and built and repaired 11 solidarity houses.

This is the 8th commune-level locality in Thang Binh to hold its congress, and the grassroots-level Fatherland Front congresses will be completed in April, and the district-level congresses in June 2024.
